65He went on to say, "This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless the Father has enabled him."--------------------------------------------------------------
Ponder this: Jesus said the above line to his disciples who did not believe in what he was preaching and were turning away from following him. From this passage it is clear that belief in God and obedience to his commandments do not come naturally to man. It is a supernatural faith that comes only from God. One cannot fake being a Christian for long since obeying God's commandments and believing in Him will ALWAYS be a burden to the natural man. One must experience the miracle of salvation that comes only from God and by God before one can do anything that pleases God.
