2 things to know when Evangelising

Psalm 19:7 (New King James Version)

⁷ The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul;
The testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple;

1 Corinthians 1:21-24 (New King James Version)

²¹ For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. ²² For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; ²³ but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, ²⁴ but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.

Ponder this: Thinking of witnessing to unbelievers? You don't have to be a Bible scholar to effectively tell others about the God you serve. I noticed two things in the above scriptures that I believe are absolute necessities when witnessing to an unbeliever. One must make clear what God's laws are (10 commandments & others) and how a person without God violates those laws. Also, one must glorify Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour and the ultimate sacrifice he made for all of mankind.
